How Can an Advance Recovery Coach Help You?
Peer Support
Our Recovery Outreach Specialists bring personal lived experience—including recovery from substance use, justice system involvement, and incarceration. They are trained and certified Recovery Coaches who provide support to individuals actively using substances and seeking a harm reduction pathway toward a thriving life.
We meet people where they are, offering connection to immediate assistance such as emergency housing, transportation, healthcare, legal aid, and other social services.
Medically Assisted Treatment & Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MAT & MOUD)
Our team is knowledgeable about treatments for substance use disorders and helps people access medical or mental health care if that is part of their recovery goals.
Overdose Prevention
Advance's Recovery Outreach Specialists can provide training on recognizing and responding to suspected opioid overdose and distribute free overdose reversal medication Narcan (naloxone). This resource is available not only to individuals using substances but also to their friends, families, and other support networks.
Call or text (800) 641-8092 for access to free Narcan (naloxone) and training.

Our Recovery Navigator Program is grounded in community, collaboration, and compassion. Whether partnering with public health, elected leaders, or treatment providers, we work together to reduce overdose deaths, expand access to care, and support individuals in every stage of recovery. These moments reflect our mission in action—meeting people where they are and building a healthier, more connected North Central Washington.

These snapshots highlight the strong community partnerships driving our Recovery Navigator Program—collaborating with the Okanogan County Drug Court, Family Health Centers’ Opioid Treatment Network, and local correctional systems to support individuals on their recovery journey both inside and outside the jail setting.
